Energy Savings Are a Year Round Benefit
Although there are still two feet of snow on the ground, it won’t be long before Martin Acres residents will be facing the hot summer sun again. Snow will look good then, but rather unattainable. However, there’s an alternative. According to Excel, “Qualifying residential customers who purchase and install a new, eligible central air conditioner from one of Exel’s registered contractors may receive up to $1,000 cash back. The High Efficiency Cooling Rebate program is designed to generate maximum energy savings for residents by focusing on proper installation practices.”
Contractors visit your home and help you choose a system compatible with its size; as Martin Acres homes are not Mapleton mansions, this means that residents will not be pressured into buying an over-sized system.
To be eligible for the program, one must be a customer of Excel and live in Colorado, and use one of Excel’s registered contractors. The application deadline for systems that residents acquire between 1 January, 2012 and 31 December, 2012 is July 31, 2013.
