Rock Creek’s first family-owned sports bar and grill open for business
There’s a new hot spot in town: Rock Creek Sports Bar and Grill, located in Rock Creek Village (next to Safeway). The sports bar recently opened in December and shows all types of sporting events on one of 5 flat-screen T.V.’s.
Locals are calling it the first “true sports bar” in Superior. The restaurant has many amenities including a jukebox, flat screen T.V.’s, a full menu, full bar, booth seating and in the warmer months an outdoor patio will be available. The outdoor view will be great for checking out Community Park in the summer.
As for the food, well the breakfast burritos smothered in green chili are getting lots of positive buzz so far along with hot wings and burgers. On the weekend you can get your breakfast burrito with a Bloody Mary drink special. All entrees are currently under $10 and there is also a kid’s menu available.
If you enjoy the food at Conor’s in Boulder you may just enjoy the food here too: Colm O’Neill owns them both. Happy Hour is every day from 3-7 p.m. and includes beers for $3 and well drinks and wine.
So come out and support a new local business! This family friendly eatery seems to be a hit with fresh bar food, good service and sports entertainment. Maybe Superior will at long last have a successful neighborhood bar that is not a chain.
