What was your world like before? Real estate? What drove you to real estate? Anything you want to share about that?

So, yeah, real estate has always been something that I wanted to do. I actually out of high school, I got my interior design degree. So I have a degree in interior design. And then I wanted to go into like staging homes. So I took several classes on like merchandizing and staging homes for sale. And I would work a lot with realtors and I always admired what they did and thought, okay, I'm going to do that someday.

And then, you know, life happens. I started a family, got busy with my kids, and it just wasn't a good time. But I finally decided to do it and get my real estate license and go after being a realtor. And I love every minute of it. Yeah, it's been amazing.

Yeah. Good for you. Well, you know what an incredible skill set you can bring to your business with your design background, you know, staging and the merchandizing of home, super critical and the value add. You can bring to sellers. So I imagine you really are able to take that and bring it into your current business.

Absolutely. Like for me, it's you know, it really is all about the details and, you know, just making a home shine. Yeah. Kind of creating that model home look and feel for a home that's on the market because I mean, model homes definitely sell. That's why builders have them out there. Yeah. So if we can create that feeling in someone's home, that's definitely, you know, successful and helping them sell it so quickly and quickly.

Yeah. And actually, you know, for real swings on what the market will bear. I mean, that skill set I think is one of the most valuable an agent can bring to a listing to bring to a seller. The concept, as you said, of merchandizing a home. You know, I've seen upwards of 5% swings in what the market will bear for a property that is fully dialed in and merchandised.

Absolutely. It really does make a difference. And it makes it makes it stand out among the competition and when people lock in, you know, they just fall in love and they they want to live there. That's right. So that's what I love doing. Yeah. Yeah.

Well, you know, real estate is such a dynamic industry of lots of different components of it, you know, I guess I'll frame the question, you know, what do you love most about what you do about real estate being the industry?

I think the first thing that came to my mind is the people I love, people whom I am, people oriented. And it's just for me, it's about the relationships that I make with people and being along this journey with them to help them find their first home or help them move up to a bigger home or buy an investment property.

Like being able to just establish that relationship and trust with my clients is so important. And I just I love being a part of that process.

Yeah. I mean, it's so it's so impactful on me. Buying and selling a home is one of the most critical things you can do right in your life. I mean, it's oftentimes the biggest asset someone has. Yes. So you can really make an impact on people's lives. Yeah.

And that's what I love to do for sure. It's about the people for me and the relationships. Yeah. So yeah.

And I, you know, I think being able to build a relationship with someone and really empathize and engage with them, particularly in a real estate transaction, is so important to have that feels to a, to someone, you know, it can be a highly emotional.

And stressful and stressful. So just being there for them and really holding their hand through it and just being that trusted resource is, is invaluable. Yeah. And, and also just having fun along the way with your clients, you know, they're just like becoming their friend through the process. I think that's, you know, the most amazing thing and it gives me so much satisfaction.

Yeah, well, a huge bonus for your clients to be able to build a friendship with you because I know you. You're a ton of fun. You bring so much to the table. And that relationship pieces is just such a huge bonus for the people that get to get to work with you. Yeah. Honestly, it's been so amazing. Like, this company is unbelievable. The training we get through our teams. Like, it's just like it's like being a part of a family. Yeah. And to me, that is amazing, because you're not just left out there alone, you know, to do this business, you have so many people that you can lean on. We have an incredible marketing team.

You're an amazing president that runs this company. I love my Parker/Castle Rock team, where anger is my managing broker. She has so much experience and just the advice she gives you because, you know, a lot of times there are some things that come along the way with real estate that you haven't navigated before through and just having that support of a team backing you up, it's like you're getting even more experience behind you.

Yeah. And so I just I'm so blessed to be a part of this company because I don't feel like I'm just another number. I feel like I'm really a part of the 8z culture and the nation and a part of the family. And I wouldn't have it any other way. I love that big smile on my face. Listening to you talk about that and back at you. You know, you bring so much to the table here and it really is true. I mean, we are a unique company. That's it. That's it. All right, so let's pivot a little bit and talk about the market. You know, I mean, I think by definition, you know, a market is dynamic. A market is always changing and is variable and is not static. You know, any thoughts around, you know, the current market we're in, perhaps what buyer or seller should think about in the market coming forward or just any general thoughts you want to share about the market?

Yeah, I mean, I would I have definitely seen is I mean, there is still such a demand out there for buyers to get into homes here in Colorado. I mean, Colorado is just a fantastic place to live with, you know, our great outdoors and mountains and, you know, the great economy we have here, a job market. So I'm definitely seeing there's such a need for people.

They're tired of renting. Yeah. They don't want to pay that high price and rent and they really want to get into a home. So there is a big demand. And homes homes are still selling. Oh, yeah, they are still selling. And you know, they're moving out there. It's you know, it's moving. So I'm just just being out there and making like four on the listing side, you know, making your listings stand out.

Yeah. Pricing them. Right. Marketing them really well which we have an amazing marketing team that helps with that, but also, you know, marketing through social media, doing open houses. I mean, all of that makes a difference in putting your best foot forward when you're going on the market to sell. So yeah, yeah. And then just being, you know, being hustling out there to get your, your clients, your buyers and their contract.

It can be a little bit competitive right now. Yeah, depending on the price range. But, but you know, we're out there doing it and we can make it happen for sure.

Yeah, no doubt. I mean, you you articulated it well. I mean, demand is high even with the interest rate environment. Like you said, in-migration to Colorado is there's no shortness of that because of the quality of life here. So I certainly predict as well that that will continue. Demand will remain strong, you know, inventory remains tight, which could create some of that competition on the buy side.

But with your negotiating skills, no doubt that you can crush it for your buyer clients and then for sellers. You bring so much to the table with marketing. You make, you know, you can really make an impact.

Yeah. And I think I have to seem like I think it's important like going back to the relationships is obviously you want to have a good relationship with your client, but also having a good relationship with the agent that's on the other side of of the deal that you're working on for your client, like having that open communication with them from day one makes a big difference, especially if it's in a competitive environment.

You're trying to win the deal. Hey, is that agent likes you and you guys totally vibe they're going to be more willing to pick your offer over another agent. So I think just having that that good just rapport and relationship with the other agents that are out there doing this as well is a big difference, no doubt. So.

Yeah. So I go to church out in Aurora. I'm actually I love to sing. Singing has always been a passion of mine. I tried out for American Idol. That's right. Way back in the day when they came here. And so I'm on the worship team at my church. So I do that a couple of times a month and I love it.

I just like to keep myself busy and love to be around people and have fun. I love the mountains. Yeah. So getting out, hiking, love to kayak, get out on the lake and just relax.
