It’s a walkable neighborhood that offers the amenities of Lower Highlands without the prices. The average price for a home in Sunnyside is $637,000 and those homes earned 12% appreciation from May 2020 to May 2021” Gates says. “Most of the neighborhood’s new residents move from other areas of the Denver, and many are first-time buyers who are tired of renting.”
